Enjoying what is

BEAR with me, everyone (11mins). This is definitely not one of my most profound posts, but one that you hopefully enjoy.

On the other hand, there is the symbolism of the bear. Bear as a spirit animal representing strength, fearlessness, the importance of quiet time and rest. The spirit of the bear providing strong grounding forces. Yet I have to admit the meaning of a bear getting into a backyard pool eludes me. Maybe you can tell me, I’m curious to hear your suggestions!

Or maybe you’ll just do what I did: enjoy the playfulness and fun this mother and cubs seem to have. It made my day and I hope it’ll make yours too!

And talk about Synchronicity… Dayna Spirit, you may enjoy this one the most!

Do not mute it when watching – you might also have fun with the different reactions of the family videotaping it.

  1. Hi Gaia.

Since you asked so sweetly, how could I not come and watch this video? I love. Mamma Bear certainly deserved some pool time, what with five cubs. Wow! And it looks like all six bears were having a blast. How fun.

The only things you left off about bears is that they are wise and we all know how protective mamma bears are.

I think that it means that this family has created a fun and loving and safe space. The families reactions and interactions seem back that up.

On the otherhand, I believe it could have been a message to enjoy each others company more and to quit relying on stuff for entertainment.

Pretty good lesson for us all, I would say. Bear really is a good teacher and it was a fun lesson, too.

    • Thank you so much WISE owl 🙂 for sharing your wisdom. I simply couldn’t resist posting this video. Personally, the first thing that comes to mind when I think of bears, I perceive them as powerful animals that like to hibernate from time to time. This family still represented “power” to me but to see them chilling out in some kids’ pool and being playful, having fun wasn’t exactly what I would think of bears doing. However it is a great lesson – to not take things too serious all the time, enjoy what’s there, or?

      • Yes. There are a number of lessons one can glean from the video. How about that it’s good to take a break dong something relaxing and completely different? Mother bear had a lot on her paws with five younguns but she allowed herself to relax a little and enjoy this handy little weird pond.

btw. I am stealing this post and writing about it on my blog. Hope you don’t mind. Namaste.

      • Great! Love it! Will visit right away. This “beary bunch” is inspiring in so many ways
