Finding JOY in what you do

10 days ago I shared our frustrations anticipation of a prospective move in my post ‘are we there yet?‘ . The move would be about creating a new home but even more so a new way of being. For quite a while now, we’ve been working on the Chrysalis Project, creating a ‘center for connection’ with the purpose of giving mortal humans an easy way of interacting with metaphysicals – and vice versa. However, to this date, the Chrysalisportal ‘only’ exists in virtual form (here)….and in the metaphysical realms of course.

I recently had an email-exchange about this topic with a fellow blogger (Nadine) who had been hoping to set up a healing center and ended up with what she calls a ‘virtual healing center’. I asked her if it was okay to share some of her inspiring thoughts on my blog. She agreed ! Here is what she wrote about her original idea, where it took her, what she learned in the process of pursuing her dream (even if the dream didn’t come true in that form- yet?-) and the importance of finding JOY in what you do: joy

“I remember my earlier days when I first had my vision of a healing center. I had this knowing that I was being led to the next step or person or place, a step closer to the fruition of my dream. I continue to still be led and guided — to another direction, though. I’ve been guided to focus on writing and blogging and turning my blog site into the healing center that I had long dreamed of and envisioned, albeit in virtual form. I have also been guided to embrace the idea that I AM that center through which healing and transformation takes place.  It is My Presence, My Being, My Light — that is the center. When I beam My Light and live in Joy I AM fulfilling my purpose and mission!

I’ve learned that when something takes too much effort, when I push, pressure and stress myself to accomplish something, when I force things to unfold….they don’t. Things, Life simply doesn’t happen that way. Sure, I can still push and make things happen — but for a price! The results are not worth the effort and the stress and pain. I’ve learned to practice instead the Art and Skill of Allowing. Flowing. I’ve come to realize that writing, blogging and sharing gives me the most Joy. I do it simply because I find Joy in doing so! I need to focus on the things that make me joyful — that’s all. That’s how I’m able to make the most contribution to the healing and ascension of humanity and the planet. I’m no longer pressuring and stressing myself unnecessarily to be doing something more ‘grand’ as a way of measuring the contribution that I’m making.

My original intention for my blog was to be a website for my healing practice. None of that happened as I’ve come to realize that building a healing practice isn’t truly what would give me the most joy. As I gained more clarity, as I slowly let go of this plan of setting up a healing practice, I also let go of my plan and dream of building a [physical] healing center — my attachment to it, at least. So, part of my process was to gain clarity on what my intention was/is — not only with the healing center but with my blogging and with anything else in Life that I’m thinking of creating and manifesting.

I may still end up coming back to my dream and vision of a healing center. By then, though, I will be creating simply from a space of Joy — instead of desperation, neediness, forcefulness and all the stress. I’ve become clear that the blocks showed up in my process of creating a center and prevented it from manifesting because I needed to come to this phase where I AM learning how to simply live and be in Joy — the most rightful space to be when creating and manifesting. Joy is an essential element. Joy is the energy of 5D Living and the New Earth that we are all creating.

As I’m clearing away old paradigms and programming, beliefs and patterns in order to move to higher dimensional thinking and Joyful and Joy-filled living, becoming a multi-dimensional being, I AM getting clearer and clearer as to who and what I AM. As I define, re-define, and refine me, I know the same clearing process is taking place in others. When we’ve done enough clearing, our energies will be more aligned. We will have shared and aligned values and principles. We will be coming from a space of Joy, creating and building a community and/or center from a Joyful and Joy-filled Space!”
